A new generation of heat sensor cable
Reliable fire recognition in environments featuring extreme prevailing conditions such as heat, frost or humidity places the highest demands on technology. The MHD 535 is able to operate effectively within a temperature range of between -40 °C and +85 °C and functions just as reliably at relative humidity levels of 100%.
Precise and rapid fire detection via cable and clever design
Highly sensitive sensors immediately signal any conspicuous rises in temperature and increases in infrared radiation. Each individual sensor may be individually programmed with regard to its response behaviour. This enables sensors to adapt perfectly to their respective environment and deliver highly relevant data to the system via the patented HS (high-speed) bus system. Alarms can be localised in an extremely precise manner. Distance between sensors is freely determinable between 2 and 20 metres.
A new feature of the MHD 535 is its increased availability. The cable is divided into sections by Sensor Separator Modules (SSM). In the event of a malfunction occasioned by such circumstances as mechanical damage, these modules enable simple insulation of a defective section of the cable whilst the remaining sections continue to work in the same reliable manner. The newly developed error tolerant network brings several evaluation units together. All information such as alarms, preliminary alarms, error messages or system status flow via the fail-safe network.
The MHD 535 has a broad spectrum of deployment. and can provide reliable monitoring of tunnels, multi-storey car parks, car park silos, cold stores, industrial facilities such as conveyor plants or production lines, refineries, gas and district heating lines, incineration plants, waste disposal companies, saw mills or agricultural companies.
